Could you please try compiling with _GLIBCXX_DEBUG and running the code
again? That might give more information on the problem. It appears that
you are trying to insert into a list that is NULL, but I'm not sure where
it is coming from. Running the code under Valgrind might also be useful
if you are on a platform that it supports.
