I am sorry, but while Boost.Jam might looked like a seperate tool, it was never
such. It was always a build engine component of Boost.Build, and is mostly
merged with Boost.Build in trunk. Therefore, the UPDATE rule is an
implementation detail of Boost.Build, and there's no promise to make
it backward compatible.
