Is your second parameter the address of a class or the class itself?
My usual problem with bind is forgetting the 'this' as the second parameter for a member function.

Ah yes, thank you for helping me see the obvious.
While this discussion was going on in email, I added more parameters to the function in my 
project.  I need to update that line, as well!
