Hello Ion,

thanks for the quick response.
Is the removed implementation still compatible to boost 1.49?
If so I simply could use the old (yet buggy on some platforms) as a
replacement for now.
For me the barrier was working like a charm on Win32 platforms (I used
it for a shared memory client/server model)
