This sounds odd. Are you sure you are setting BOOST_ALL_DYN_LINK and/or
BOOST_SERIALIZATION_DYN_LINK during compilation?
The export/import magic looks fine to me.
And please provide a compilable testcase. There are flags and #defines which
might trigger this behaviour.
