This is a *very* strange bug. Essentially this says that the typedef is
not accessible because it is private. However, the actor template is
declared as:
template <typename Expr>
struct actor
{
     ....
};

no private there at all ... even if i add the "public:" explicitly it
doesn't solve the problem. This needs further investigation.
