I have successfully built the RCs on Mac OS X six ways:

        clang -std=c++03
        clang -std=c++11
        clang -std=c++14
        gcc -std=c++03
        gcc -std=c++11
        gcc -std=c++14

where
        clang —> Apple LLVM version 6.0 (clang-600.0.54)
        gcc —> g++ (GCC) 4.9.0
