The question why does it treated as string character when my intention is to work with 8bit integral type? int8_t/uint8_t does not help either on most platforms it is just a define for signed/unsigned char. So, the broader question, how do you work with âbyteâ type when it is always treated as character? And the main question how do I force qi/karma to treat âcharâ as a number?
P.S. cast to short is an obvious solution but it is not elegant
