Hi,

I've submitted a bunch of first bits of this module, details here:

Only point is supported for now, but all infrastructure for crunching
streams of bytes is in place (ggl/util/endian.hpp), so I hope to
implement linestring_parser and polygon_parser very soon.
It should be straightforward now.

Comments and critique welcome - I'd suggest to drop comments under the
ticket.
