Hi Mats,

Herewith a zipfile with (originally) your sources, now running with the 
new traits approach without a pointer.
I splitted the file a bit (each adaption is in its own header now - some 
specializing Boost.Range, some for Boost.Geometry) during the process, 
but basically what you intended is there, and it runs now.
