In doing some work on boost/progress.hpp, I noticed that
boost::progress_display traffics in expected counts, which are currently
defined as unsigned long.

Now the whole point of progress_display is long running computations, so
the expected counts may be very large.

Thus it seems to me that boost::uintmax_t (from <boost/cstdint.hpp>) is a
much better choice for the count type.

Is use of <boost/cstdint.hpp> something we should encourage in our library
guidelines? Seems to me we should.
