If "he" is Joel, then I'd say yes. To be specific:
1) Ask for a phoenix review
2) Granted phoenix is accepted, it becomes a full fledged boost library
3) Merge phoenix and lambda codebase.
- lambda will be lambda1
- phoenix will be lambda2.
- Provide version switches and include forwarding (ala Spirit2)
such that old client code will remain as-is and new code can use
lambda2 (aka phoenix)
