The book is translated to English although it may take a while until it's
done (it's someone else translating it). As I went to some companies to
present the Boost C++ libraries in German-speaking countries I had to
prepare some documents in German. As companies were interested in
different Boost C++ libraries I had to add more and more chapters over
time. That's the short story of how the book got started. :)
