Hi Emil,

We at Adobe use GIL in many projects. Off the top of my head it is used in
Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, After Effects, and Premiere, and possibly
other products as well. The existing graphics code is not rewritten to use
GIL because that would be too much work, but a lot of the new
projects/features use GIL.

I am curious, where is your information coming from?
