I think Boost should be broad enough to give inter-language support a home,
as long as C++ is one of the language.
As for the question "why does Boost support Python, but not
Perl/TCL/Ruby/Lua/...?", we can answer that on the web site by saying
"Python++ was simply the first inter-language support library
submitted. Boost will be happy to add other inter-language support
libraries that meet the usual criteria."
(As you can see from the above, "Python++" gets my vote for the library's
final name.)
