Announce-only list?

What do boost members think of starting an eGroups boost-announce list?

Postings would be limited, perhaps to:

* Announcements of new versions of the library posted on the web site.

* Announcements of the start of a Formal Review, with a brief description 
of what is being reviewed.

In effect, such a list would cater to those who want to keep in touch with 
boost, but don't want to read a high volume mailing list.
