John, we do know about Python here. Have you bothered to look at the
Boost.Python library (http://www.boost.org/libs/python/doc/index.html), of
which I'm the author?
Have you bothered to read my previous response to your suggestion
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/boost/message/12558 where I mentioned that the
boost membership rejected a requirement that anything as heavy-duty as
Python be installed for our build?
Agitating for an approach that has already been discussed and rejected (see
this thread: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/boost/message/7559) is not
productive unless you address the reasons for rejection.
