Since pre-releases of gcc 3.0 have been available for some time,
most required modifications have already been folded in.
My latest tests with a pre-release show that only very few
additional fixes may be necessary. Best of all, most config.hpp
settings could be done away with.
I'll update the regression tests in the CVS soon, but I'll keep
the 2.95.3 results there as well. Some people may not want
to upgrade soon. For example, timer_test.cpp appears to expose
a bug in the optimizer.
