Currently I'm not providing even a .zip, since the build system is
undergoing active development. I could send you a .tgz once, but I don't
think I want to do that every time I make a change.

Sorry. I hope you can find a more convenient way, because it looks like
providing a .tgz repeatedly isn't going to fly.
