I'm not an expert on Wikis, but from what I understand forcing a Wiki page
to be non-editable goes against the spirit of Wiki. OTOH, the cgi scripts
could probably be configured to add a standard disclaimer at the bottom (or
top) of each page displayed.
It doesn't have to be a one-or-the-other situation, by the way - the Yahoo
group extremeprogramming also has a Wiki site, and both are quite active and
useful. You might consider the wiki/YGroup combination to be analogous to
the Usenet pair comp.lang.c++.moderated/comp.lang.c++.
