Yes, I have already implemented it. The only question is when it will
be available, and that is something I really wish I had control over.
Our current plans for VC7.1 do not include export on templates. The
only other significant feature we haven't decided on is dependent name
binding.

The location is a bit ironic given that Microsoft still stubbornly
refuses
to implement important parts of the '98 standard -- in particular,
partial
specialization of class templates, which was available on Unix C++
compilers 4-1/2 years ago. Was there any indication from Microsoft that
they will *ever* implement partial specialization?
