There's a very simple approach that often avoids trouble with lawyers on
either side (developer or user's organization): just make it all public
domain. The ISIP speech recognition is public domain precisely because
ISIP director Joseph Picone didn't want to have to deal with sticky IP
issues with his university's lawyers.
