P.S. I would like to invite anyone who is interested in portable
C++ *threaded* programming to join "C++ and threads" comp.std.c++
discussion. Oh, Ah, forgot to mention one rather important thing:
Boost.Threads is a JOKE; nothing more than a joke (so far),
Isn't the name of the game to cooperate and constructively criticise etc.?
Instead of labelling Boost.threads a joke in your usenet post, why not put
up sound arguments here.
Whilst Bill may have his own goals and timescales which aren't to everyone's
liking, one thing that makes Boost continue to improve is the willingness to
incorporate reasoned ideas.
