Thank you.  BTW, I have realized that the regular expression on line
93 in configure.in:

  boost_base=`expr "x$0" : 'x\(.*\)/[^/]*' \| '.'`

should be

  boost_base=`expr "x$0" : 'x\(.*\)/@<:@/@:>@*' \| '.'`

Presumably,

  boost_base=`(dirname "$0") 2>/dev/null ||
    $as_expr "x$0" : 'x\(.*\)/@<:@/@:>@*' \| '.' 2>/dev/null ||
    echo '.'`

would be better.  I think now the succeeding test (lines 103--113)
becomes helpless and we can remove it.
