Yes, ublas is not intended to support tensors.

I recently discussed with Kresimir Fresl about valarray integration via our
array_adaptor class. We'll hopefully be able to support integration of rank
n containers with something similar.

P.S.: I believe, that we are following existing practice in separating the
rank 2 case ;-)
