To clarify, a big part of the reason for wanting it closed or private or 
whatever it is called is that neither Dave or I have ever used "chat", and 
so wanted a limited forum.  The idea being that if it seemed useful, we 
could expand it to other Boost needs.

OTOH, if it wasn't useful, no point in boring everyone with something that 
wasn't working out.
