All styling currently is exported into the style sheets, which is by the way
has nothing to do with javascript.
html2ps probably does not process stylesheet definitions.

BTW. There is a "secret" switch in a pages. If you click on menu root it
should switch to the style you are describing.
I does not work yet completely as desired, so it is not anounced yet. I will
make it remember style of your choice, so 
you would not need to witch every time. This (white) style will probably
also include stastic menu instead of dynamic.

In general styling in matter of taste. I myself don't like white backgrounds
and menus in from of my eye all the time.
But I won't force style on you. If you want white style, you will have a
choice.
