I constantly hear this kind of arguments from the boost community
"you can change the source", "you can overload global new/delete", etc.
It seems like you are assuming that boost is supposed to be
used by the end-user application developers only.
I disagree boost should be usable by in other C++ template libraries
that are shipped separetly (just like boost is using STL).
In this case the library developer doesn't have an option
of modifing boost sources or overloading global new/delete
(just like boost cannot modify STL or overload new/delete).
