No, the Files section is still active. However...

..Uploading to either area requires registering with the managing web site
(YahooGroups or SourceForge) and having one of our administrators giving you
write access.
[To the administrators, is our YahooGroups files area still mis-configured
to restrict read access to YahooGroup members? If so, can that finally be
changed back to read-access for everyone? I'm tired of being forced to sign
in to do a download when that wasn't always the case. Maybe Yahoo
permanently disabled turning off the sign-in requirement in their big
upgrade in September.]
