Is using the parse(string) method unpractical ?

The meaning of assigning from string  is probably clear, but it's less
explicit than parse(), and I wouldn't define 2 functions for the same
feature. So unless the operator= has a practical advantage over the
parse() member func, I'll keep parse()..
