FWIW:
The biggest apparent change is a smaller initial font.
This doesn't help using Firefox and a 1600 x 1200 screen - the font is very
feeble (thin) until a certain size increase (ctrl+) and it seems to be a
different 'magnification'.
(The old-style pages in Times Roman are still more readable IMO).
