FWIW I was thinking of leaving the same XML but just generating a parallel
xml
schema which could be used by an XML editor. From the posts
on the property tree discussion I realize that there would be interest
in this. On the other hand, it would require a lot of interest in
becoming familiar with arcane details of current state of the art
XML. I'm sure this is very hot topic and of much interest to
some people but not to me. So, that's my true motivation.
