Not sure I understood the last sentence. To me, I simply select the
"view" (view unread messages) each time I download new headers.
Newsgroup experience has showed that there are rare cases in which a
follow-up is posted *years* (not kidding) later the referred to
message. And here, given the high posting volume, there are always
messages which appear very distant: discussions begun on the first
days of this month, for instance, are years away in my window :-) But
since I'm the proponent of the idea I'll remain silent. Let's see what
others think about it.
