No, I think not -- I've prodded Jan and he insists there are changes that are 
needed and he doesn't have time :-(

At this point, it's the extended 1.34 release schedule that is really causing 
much of this backup.  The RC branch has been frozen for months.  I believe 
property tree will be going on the head soon...MPI, well it just got accepted.
