How about Thunderbird used as a news (NNTP) reader, reading messages
from the Gmane mail-to-news gateway? Do you know if in this case the
client's Thunderbird should be re-configured, or rather the Gmane
Boost list run by bdawes at acm.org, gregod at cs.rpi.edu, cpdaniel at pacbell.net, john at johnmaddock.co.uk
