My opinion is that all of those changes are fine -
except for the one where you changed "Dietmar Kühl"'s name.
There's a bug (and a feature request) open against non-ASCII
characters in boost source files (and headers), and I've been fixing
some of them; but I have refrained from changing people's names.
[ Of course, that doesn't solve the problem that you're having :-( ]
Again, this is just my personal opinion.
