[boost] public beta test ?

Hi there,

I'd like to suggest a public beta test as part of the release procedure.
>From what I can see, while the trunk version is available to everybody,
there is no formal call for external testing. But this would increase
visibility of Boost and would likely reveal a number of additional bugs.
