You've probably found these already, but:

The gsoc 2008 page just has the standard blurb about boost:

   http://code.google.com/soc/2008/boost/about.html

and if you search the wiki for 'google' and there are pages for the last
three years. Unfortunately, no information about what application
materials were used.
