Here's an idea. If you become a tester for the Commeau compiler
the results of your tests will be posted on the trunk testing matrix.
The presence large patches of red and/or yellow offends the
aesthetic sensability of everyone and the personal pride of the
maintainer of the library in question. Often this is all that is
needed to motivate the desired changes.
