Please no.  As x -> 0, 0/x says it should be 0, x/x says it should be
1, sqrt(x)/x says it should be +infinity.  0/0 is the one that really
has to be NaN.

Ask your friendly neighbourhood high school calculus teacher for
further elaboration.
