Well I hope it isn't that bad, but yes, I've been unusually pedantic
about this, so I'll hang it up.
I'm not convinced there should even be an NaN (prefer throwing and
returning boost::optional<>). I'll leave it to Chad to evaluate my
opinion accordingly.
Now on to see what else I pick on this library for...
