I think there's a better way to think about this.

Almost everyone here has some personal quirks, habits
and practices that many of us find annoying or distracting.
I could go on about my own pet peeves but this
fact isn't going to change.  We just have to ignore it
and concentrate on making progress.  My advice
is suck it up and move on.
