Following a semantic naming convention, those are bitwise and, bitwise or, etc. Following a symbolic naming convention, those are ampersand, pipe, etc. The latter has the advantage of being independent of the types involved, allowing for their reinterpretation in various contexts, and, it would seem, leads to shorter names. However, consistency of naming, and allowances for non-English speakers (or at least non-native English speakers) should be made when considering the efficacy of the symbolic names.
