Indeed, none the less I'm sure there would be interest in this, can I
suggest you file a couple of Trac tickets with patches at svn.boost.org,
make sure the issue (1) is assigned to the thread lib, and issue (2) to
Boost list run by bdawes at acm.org, gregod at cs.rpi.edu, cpdaniel at pacbell.net, john at johnmaddock.co.uk
