Maybe I'm blind as a bat, not an uncommon occurrence, but reading the 
BoostDoc[1] docs I cannot find any _clear_ mention of AFIO relying on the NT 
kernel api (it's mentioned in passing on a few unrelated pages). Nor can I find 
any rationale for this.
