Macros are evil. I'd appreciate more work from a library author if it
meant less use of macros by the library users. Even when I'm the
Boost list run by bdawes at acm.org, gregod at cs.rpi.edu, cpdaniel at pacbell.net, john at johnmaddock.co.uk
