doesn't GLAS have its own default implementation/backend, potentially making

Also, if MTL is intended as a general purpose matrix library in the spirit
of (and replacement of) ublas then why not just throw our eggs in that
basket and hopefully get GLAS support for MTL in the future for better
interoperability?
What do you guys think about the difficulty in getting MTL4 numeric traits?
