[msm] nested pseudo exits with same event ending up in no trans in the most outer state machine.

Hi All I have run in to the following problem : if I have 3 state machines where 1st has a composite state which has one more composite state than the most inner one enters to a pseudo exit state which sends finish event. The middle one has a transaction from the most inner pseudo exit with even finish to a pseudo exit middle state which sends finish again. The most outer state machine has a transition from the middle pseudo exit with event finish to a internal state. when the most inner pseudo state sends event finish it ends in a NO transition on the most outer state machine instead of triggering the transition in the middle state machine. please find the sample code to reproduces the problem and execution output in attachment to . a part of the execution output : leaving: Stopped entering: Playing entering: Playing::PseudoEntry1 leaving: Playing::PseudoEntry1 entering: test1Sm::initial leaving: test1Sm::initial entering: test1Sm::TestPseudoExit1 no transition from state 1 on event struct `anonymous namespace'::finish Is it a bug or I'm doing something wrong ?. Help with patch

Hi there, this is probably offtopic but I need some help with applying a patch for boost::gil. First of all, I don't have much experience with patch and I need to change that. I read some tutorials online on how to patch with subversion and it seems pretty straightforward. I did some little testing myself and everything works as expected. Nice tool, I like it! Now, my first real life try with patch and I'm running into a problem immediately. I get this error with subversion: --------------------------- TortoiseMerge --------------------------- The patch seems outdated! The file line TIFF *_tp; and the patchline TIFF *_tp; do not match! --------------------------- OK --------------------------- The patch file was send to boost mailing list and maybe some lines got shifted by a whitespace but I cannot really tell. I uploaded that patch file here: http://code.google.com/p/gil-contributions/source/browse/trunk/gil_fix/tiff… Could someone tell me what's wrong with that patch file and how to fix it? [range] permission to merge

Please may I merge changes to Boost.Range to add overloads to various Range functions to better support the use with temporary results? These changes have been tested on the trunk over the last three days without issue. Regards, Neil Groves

Bug in boost graph library

Hello, first I do not if this is the right list. I new to the boost mailling lists. I found a bug in the edge_range function of adjancency list. I condensed a short example. When compiled with MSVC 9 and Debug settings I get a debug assertion, "sequence not ordered". From my understanding the edge_range function needs the stored edge list to be sorted for the std::equal_range function. If I inspect "c" with the debugger the edges are not sorted but in the same order as they were added to the graph. Arne P.S.: If this not the right place for reporting bugs can you point to the right bug tracker/etc?

Does boost help in creating generic function wrappers?

In c++0x, creating a generic function wrapper is a bliss: template <typename Func> class gen_wrapper { Func && func_; public: gen_wrapper(Func && in) : func_(in) {} template <typename ... Prms> /*deduce result here */ operator() (Prms && ... prms) { //Do something special here. //NOTE: we can operate with arguments here too return func_(std::forward<Prms>(prms)...); } }; That's it. But if I don't have C++0x, can boost help here? functional/forward_adapter won't work since it hides function parameters, it only lets you operate with the function. It looks like it may be possible to do that by using boost/preprocessor I'll have to generate a whole lot of overloads with O(2^N) (because of the overload on (T &) or (T const &) for every argument). But it looks pretty dounting. It's basically what forward_adapter had to do. Isn't there a ready-made library that would allow me to generate all of the overloads? Thanks, Andy.

status of logging library

What is the status of adding a logging library to Boost? I was looking at Boost.Log and Pantheios. I would like to not have to had another library to depend on.
