Comment:

 identation can be escaped. e.g.
 \<tab> abc
 \<tab> def

 this might seem like a cosmetic problem, but look at a large quickbook
 like Boost.Intrusive's.
 it is very hard to understand the structure of that document from a random
 point in the file.
