As noted in this thread:

symbols whether macros or extern "C" functions should start with a
"boost_" prefix - both to avoid polluting the global namespace as far as
is possible, and to make boost-related symbols readily identifiable and
searchable.
Smart_ptr has the global symbol "lw_thread_routine" which should probably
be "boost_lw_thread_routine".
